Foam Sponge

Foam Sponge

CUSCOR sources a large variety of closed-cell and open-cell foam sponge materials. Stocking many of these materials allows us to provide samples and prototypes rapidly.

Cushioning, sealing, gasket, absorbing, vibration damping and gap-filling are just a few of the applications where foam sponge is utilized. CUSCOR die-cuts foams of different densities, thicknesses, and compositions based on the requirements of your application. We also have the capability to laminate the foam material with adhesive and other materials to create a more dynamic part.

There are many types of foam sponges. Cushioning, sealing, cushioning, absorption, shock absorption and gap filling are only a small part of the application of foam sponge.

Neoprene Foam

Neoprene is an extremely versatile synthetic black rubber used for harsh environment applications due to its excellent resistance to oil and petroleum-based solvents.

Neoprene resists deprivation from the sun, ozone, and other weather elements. It also displays incredible resistance to damage caused by flexing and twisting. Another advantage of neoprene rubber is that it has very good resistance to dilute acids, alkalis, oils, greases, and solvents.

Neoprene has the ability to work well in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C, intermittent to +110°C. Neoprene gaskets are used for equipment in all industries.

CUSCOR can provide you with a variety of neoprene rubber products including gaskets, self-adhesive tapes, sponges, and foams.
And we can process neoprene into a block, sheet, tube, roll, and various die cuttings.

Silicone Rubber

Silicone Rubber Performance

Silicone rubber is a high-performance elastomer with exceptional resistance to temperature extremes. Silicone molded and die-cut gaskets remain functional within a temperature range of -55°C to +200°C, intermittent to +240°C.

The low-temperature flexibility of silicone is unmatched by any other elastomer. Silicone gaskets are often chosen due to their excellent resistance to chemicals, water, fire, fungal growth, ozone, heat, and aging.

Silicone has outstanding tensile strength, elongation, tear strength, and compression set. The versatility and long service life of silicone make it ideal for a wide variety of applications.

CUSCOR can provide you with a variety of silicone rubber products including gaskets, self-adhesive tapes, sponge and foams.

EPDM Foam

EPDM is a general-purpose synthetic rubber with complete saturation and high flexibility.

It has excellent chemical stability and aging resistance, as well as impact resistance and high and low -temperature resistance. As a sealing material, a heat-insulating material, and a shock-absorbing material, EPDM is widely used in various fields such as automobiles and construction engineering.

CUSCOR can provide you with a variety of EPDM rubber products including gaskets, self-adhesive tapes, sponge and foams, soundproofing materials, etc.

And we can process EPDM into a block, sheet, tube, roll, and various die cuttings.

EPDM Foam Properties

  • Excellent Acid/Alkali & steam resistance
  • Excellent ozone, corrosion, and UV resistance
  • Fast rebound
  • Good waterproof
  • Excellent insulation properties

Silicone foam

Silicone tape has good insulation properties, aging resistance, sealing properties, good adhesion, and high strength. It can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -50°C to +240°C. CUSCOR can provide you with all kinds of silicone foam. The hardness, color, and adhesive of the material can be customized.

Advantages of silicone foam

(1) High-temperature resistance
(2) Easy to install
(3) Stable performance
(4) Good flexibility
(5) Various colors
(6) Environmental protection and non-toxic
(7) Have very high resistivity
(8) Low temperature resistance
